Way to heaven

Heaven. Have you been thinking about it? Do you have it all figured out?
Would you like to know for sure that if you died you would be at home with God in heaven?

The Bible teaches us that Salvation is a gift that we are to rechttps://www.youtube.com/embed/1V7pvNq_ltweive here on earth, before we die.
With this gift, we can know for sure that we are going to Heaven.

1. We have all sinned.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. ROMANS 3:23 God's Word reminds us that we all have sinned. We have all fallen short of God's requirements, for at one time or another, we have all deliberately chosen to disobey God.

2. There is a price for sin.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. ROMANS 6:23 A wage is a payment. The payment for your sin is death and separation from God in a place that the Bible calls Hell.

3. Jesus paid that price.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. ROMANS 5:8 The word commendeth means "proved." God proved His love for you by giving His own Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for your sins. Jesus rose from the grave three days later and is alive today!

4. We must repent of our sin.
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out... ACTS 3:19 The word repent means "a sorrowful turning away from". Therefore repenting means sincere regret or remorse for one's wrong doings (i.e. sinful thoughts, words and actions) and turning from them.

5. We must believe in Jesus.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. ROMANS 10:9 To believe on Jesus Christ as Saviour means to believe that He died for you, believe that He paid the price for your sin, and believe that He is the only way to Heaven. You can express your belief in Jesus by calling on Him in prayer.
The following is an example of how you should pray. (Realize it's not mere words that save, but your faith in Jesus Christ.) "Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I believe that you died on the cross and paid the penalty for my sin. I believe that you rose from the dead three days later. I am placing my faith in you alone to forgive my sin, come into my heart and be my Saviour. Thank you dear God for giving me eternal life. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN."
If you made a decision to trust Christ as Saviour after reading this, we would like to know that we might pray for you and send you some more information. Simply contact us and let us know that you've trusted Christ as your Saviour.
